Almond Green: LHD 1967 Morris Minor Pick-Up

$

This 1967 Morris Minor pick-up (chassis MAU5L218395) is a US delivery LHD model that’s said to be rust-free, strong-running and smooth-shifting. Benefiting from recently serviced brakes, it’s been resprayed once in its factory-correct Almond Green, and photos show a good-looking example wearing a new canvas bed top and what sounds to be reupholstered, OEM style dark brown vinyl. Find it here on eBay in The villages, Florida with reserve not met.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

$

This 1977 Ford Bronco (chassis U15GLY05982) is said to have remained with its first owner until his passing in 2011. The last model year for the iconic first generation bodystyle, the truck had its fenders cut for Stroppe flares at the dealer when still new, though the 2 ½ inch lift and big wheel and tire combo are more recent additions added by the second owner—we think it looks fantastic. Further claimed mechanically sorted with just under 27k miles, paint and interior both look very good and are thought to remain largely if not all-original. Find it here on eBay in Alpharetta, Georgia with reserve not met.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

Black center wheels with machined rims and fat Mickey Thompson 33×12.5×15 tires are perfectly judged in combination with a 2 ½ inch lift that’s said to have been accomplished with new springs, shocks, offset bushings, drop Pitman arm and more. The truck looks very well-preserved in several dozen photos, though hood paint may have been redone at some point.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

The interior is especially impressive, with noticeable wear limited to a faded Ford emblem and cracking plastic on the original steering wheel. Elsewhere, clean rubber floors, excellent vinyl upholstery, a clean, uncracked dash top and good metal surfaces as well as a hardtop that the seller believes has never been removed all add up to one of the better first gen Bronco cabins we’ve seen in quite a while. Note the OEM radio and virtually unused-looking glove box.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

A 302/automatic truck, the second owner is said to have rebuilt the original carb, fitted new plugs, wires, hoses, belts and brake lines, though with low mileage and what’s claimed to be extensive—though not complete—service documentation the truck apparently needed little else.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

Said to run and drive extremely well, documentation includes a Marti Report, original, service-stamped owner’s manual, warranty card, original keys and old registration slips. Check out the recently installed dual exhaust, which seems well-executed in included underbody shots.

27K Miles: Mostly Original 1977 Ford Bronco 302

We’d dig this one for its V8, flares, stance and condition alone, though the fact it remains almost all original with good history and low mileage makes it even more appealing.

This 1942 Studebaker M29 Weasel was fully restored in 2007, a job that included a full tear down and rebuild including its flathead straight six. Used little since, it’s said to be in very good running and driving condition and retains its original, metal tracks—according to the seller only rubber replacements are available. Designed for fast troop transport in snowy Northern Europe, these amphibious vehicles were capable of about 36 MPH flat-out on land. Find this one here on eBay in Anaheim, California with reserve not met. Special thanks to BaT reader Dad for this submission!

This 1973 Ford Transit (chassis GB81NP11341) is said to have been used previously by a German fire department up until the late 1990s which is likely when it was imported. Equipped with a 1.7L V4, 4-speed manual, and dually rear axle, a mild mechanical restoration was done in the past 3k miles with rebuilt heads, cleaned fuel tank, and sorted brakes. Total mileage is said to be 28k but we suspect the odometer may have rolled over before. Find it here on eBay in Iron River, Michigan with an $8,500 BIN.

This 1989 Peugeot P4 is a Panhard-built truck based on a licensed Mercedes Benz G-class design but fitted with a Peugeot 2.5 liter diesel. Made mostly for the military, this unusual tow truck is said to be fully maintained and in good working order. Its usefulness is questionable, but we still really want to see it pulling a tired old W126 S-class for some reason. Find it here on eBay in Zuna, Netherlands with a $19k BIN.

This 1964 Chevrolet C10 (chassis 4C144S152956) has been fully restored underneath the original paint and bodywork, the seller having fitted a ZZ4 performance 350 crate motor, Tremec 5-speed and 12 bolt rear end with 4.10 gears and Positraction. Rated at 355 HP out of the box, the ZZ4 has been upgraded with a big cam, roller rockers, upgraded valve springs and runs on E85. Sounds—and looks—like fun. Find it here on eBay in Plainfield, Illinois with a $14k BIN.

This 1972 Datsun 521 pick-up wears its original paint and looks pretty straight, too. Though lowered by several inches over refinished steelies, the seller claims that it clears speed bumps and doesn’t scrape. Brakes, alternator, electronic ignition, clutch, starter, aluminum radiator, fluids and more are new, and the seller says it’s both strong-running and reliable. Find it here on Craigslist in Modesto, California for $6,700.

Coachbuilt Aluminum: Ex-Swiss Firetruck 1967 Jeep Gladiator

This 1967 Gladiator wears custom, Swiss-built aluminum bodywork and sounds to have served there as a firetruck from new. Faded paint aside, the truck looks to be in very nice condition, and the interior in particular is full of beautiful detailing—check out the molded wood seat and auxiliary switchgear on the dash. Rust is mentioned underneath, but the limitations of our translator makes it difficult to understand its severity or lack thereof. Find it here on mobile.de in Germany for 3,490 euros (~$3,780 today). Special thanks to BaT reader Gooffer for this submission!

Ex- Romanian Air Force: 1958 GAZ 69M Project

$

0

This 1958 GAZ 69M is said to be in the same condition as when it was imported in the early 1990s with subsequent storage. Cosmetics are less-than-great with a worn interior and rag top, and paint is faded and flaking but fortunately the body looks OK. This one doesn’t sound to be running, but the seller and owner of two years says these trucks are easy to maintain and parts are easily sourced–their other, running example looks to be parked next to this one. Find it here on Hemmings in Rye, New Hampshire for $4,995.

This 1992 GMC Typhoon (VIN 1GDCT18Z5N0811728) is a two-owner example with 34k miles that the seller says is driven daily. Nearly 6k miles have been added since its purchase last August, prior to which the truck had been stored for about a decade according to the link in the ad. Mechanically everything is said to work and modifications are limited to an upgraded fuel pump, boost gauge, and fuel pressure regulator. A repaint in original 90’s-centric teal and gray colors is also shown in the link and photos show an all around good-looking truck. Find it here on eBay in Tucson, Arizona with a $17k BIN.

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser

This 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser is said to be all-original, rust-free and running very well with 287k miles. A new automatic transmission has just been fitted, though a replacement smog pump is still needed—no word on its current CARB status. We like this shade of blue, and though photos seem to show a decent looking driver example, the front seats are covered with sheepskins making it impossible to know their condition underneath. Find it here on Craigslist in Danielle, California for $7,500 OBO.

This 1966 Willys M274 Mule is one of about 11,000 made between the end of WWII and 1970. Weighing only half a ton or so, motivation comes from a correct but recently replaced Continental-Hercules air-cooled two cylinder whose modest power is distributed through a 3-speed primary transmission and high-low range transfer case. This one sounds to be in good shape and has been retrofitted with electric start as well. Find it here on eBay in San Diego, California with no reserve beyond an unmet $6,500 opening bid.

This 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser (chassis T68FJ4055894) looks excellent in a light green and runs what looks like a nicely installed small block Chevy swap with Toyota 4-speed manual. 29K Miles: 1989 Volkswagen T2 Doka Diesel

$

This 1989 Volkswagent T2 Doka is a diesel-powered truck said to have only 29k miles from new. Listed as a rust and accident-free example with sorted mechanicals, the seller notes fresh tires and brakes, adding that it needs nothing as-is. Cosmetics are very nice, especially for a work vehicle, and the custom-made stainless steel ladder rack looks well made and useful. Find it here on The Samba in Woodbridge, New Jersey for $14,995 or partial interesting trade.

29K Miles: 1989 Volkswagen T2 Doka Diesel

Sky blue is an unusual color for these trucks but suits it pretty well, especially with darker lower panels and the cleaner-looking South African model lower grille. Diamond plate installed to protect the cargo bed drop-downs is visible along the top of these panels. We’d probably remove the custom stainless ladder rack, though it might prove useful to others. One interesting possibility would be to modify it for use as a canvas bed cover.

29K Miles: 1989 Volkswagen T2 Doka Diesel

The cabin looks great with nice plastics and upholstery, and even the paint on the middle bulkhead looks very clean from the rear passenger compartment—this is unusual as somewhat limited leg room means this piece is often pretty scuffed. Note the asymmetrical, three-door layout and sliding rear side windows.

29K Miles: 1989 Volkswagen T2 Doka Diesel

The engine bay isn’t photographed, but these 1.7 liter diesels are robust if not very powerful. Originality isn’t mentioned much, but even if this is a highly preserved example as we suspect it’d still make a good candidate for an engine swap. Porsche and Subaru pancakes fit well, and with many already out there the internet is full of useful information on installation and maintenance. This chassis and lower floor shot is impressive.

29K Miles: 1989 Volkswagen T2 Doka Diesel

Probably a bit too special to put to hard work, we think it’d be perfect for a light duty home improvement/parts hauling rig that could do double duty as a fun weekend toy and VW meetup conversation piece.

Equipped with a 345ci V8 and automatic as well as 4WD, the truck is said to run well with 80k miles but issues like rust and cracked seat covers will need attention-floors and rockers have already been fixed, and paint is new. This 1976 Mercedes 1116 diesel truck has been given an aluminum rollback bed, making it a very cool car hauler.
